This wonderful Oil Painting was purchased at auction, and dates from the mid 20th Century. Signed R.W Beckett, not much is know about the Artist, but this impressive landscape featuring snowy mountains and a skier would be an amazing centre piece all year round. The mountains have wonderful thick brush strokes at the top, and the skier is pictured in a cloud of snow at the bottom of the painting. The tones are muted creams and pinks.
Mounted in a silver frame with string ready to hang. In good condition overall with a small smudge (Can be seen in the photos).
