A really beautiful pair of vintage Japanese Kokeshi dolls. In two different sizes, one medium and one small. Painted by hand, with wonderful detail and in excellent condition with clear and distinct features to their faces. Typically, these dolls come in pairs - one male and one female. They were and still are given as gifts to children in Japan to mark a special occasion.
