Circa 1890s, this early Ironstone Clarke’s Pyramid Night Light is well worn and shows full character and signs of its use. (others can be found intact but this is one of the earlier lamps). To be used as a combination lamp as an inhaler and food warmer. The handle is missing and chips and cracks can be seen in the photographs. Makes a characterful styling piece in a kitchen or living space and despite its damage, still makes a collectable item.
Quote on the side of the pot reads: 'When Nights are dark then think of Clarke who's hit the mark precisely. For his Night Lights Create Light Nights in which you see quite nicely'..
