A genuine British World War 2 RAF telephone attachment headgear wooden Box. Circa 1945.
This would have contained communications equipment to relay vital information from the Operation rooms to airfields and placements. This original wooden storage box with hinged lid and front clasp is strong and sturdy, and may have had a top handle at some point. The type on the front of the box is in good condition and the lid open and closes well. A sturdy box which could be used for display or to store items.
